We don't believe it is necessary to run third-party virus software on your Agency Window computer and we rely upon the in-built Windows Defender service. The Agency Window computer is a dedicated computer and is not used for email, web-browsing etc... so the threat level is minimal and we believe that Windows Defender is sufficient for your protection.
If you do choose to install another Anti-virus package, please read the following to ensure a smooth and continuing Agency Window service.
It is possible with Anti-Virus software systems that Agency Window can be blocked from executing after an update. New systems such as AVG 2017 monitor installed application for changes and are able to block the execution after it observes a change.
There are a number of options that you can take to ensure this feature allows Agency Window to continue to operate.
AVG 2017 sends the application file to their labs for analysis with the message that it will be unblocked once it has been checked. At the time of writing this, it is unknown how long this analysis will take, nor if a subsequent update to Agency Window would require the application to be re-submitted again. You can add the application as an exception or turn off the feature altogether.
